DESCRIPTION

Forstner's new A-12 is an updated interpretation of a true space-age classic - the Bulova Accutron Astronaut, famously issued to test pilots of the hypersonic A-12 and X-15 aircraft - and features all its distinguishing hallmarks, enhanced with select modernisations that make it a perfect contemporary timepiece.

The distinct silver of brushed stainless steel plays prominently in the utilitarian and industrial design, accented by a stark black dial and white indexes that luminesce in low light for maximal legibility. The Swiss-made quartz mechanism powers an accurate and dependable readout that features an adjustable 24H GMT hand and accompanying 24H rotating bezel, for added timekeeping functionality.

The accompanying 'Bullet' bracelet is also an authentic throwback, with an angled 5-link design and alternating brushed and polished aspects that is delightfully rich in detail and wonderfully solid on the wrist, equipped as it is with Forstner's new milled foldover clasp.
